This specimen was lot 3040 in Goldberg sale 87 (Los Angeles, September 2015), where it sold for $141. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Hamburg. 8 Schilling, 1764-OHK. City arms. Reverse: Eagle. Toned and fully lustrous. PCGS graded MS-64." This type of 1762-64 traded for one-sixth of a thaler.
Recorded mintage: unknown but not rare.
