This specimen was lot 2935 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAMBURG: Free Hanseatic City, AR schilling, 1759, mintmaster initials IHL, a superb mint state example! PCGS graded MS65, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type was struck in moderate numbers 1725-27, 1738, 1749-54, 1757-59, 1762-65 and 1768. It has a low catalog value. One thaler was 48 schilling.
