This specimen was lot 73755 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hamburg. 32 Schilling, 1762-OHK. Francis I. NGC MS-61. Despite a slightly weak strike, the present example boasts an attractive white luster and less evidence of handling than one would expect for the grade assigned." This type was struck 1762-64 and is somewhat scarce. It is too small to qualify as a thaler, which was worth 48 schilling.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 18.32 g, 0.750 fine silver.

Catalog reference: KM-435; J-23.
