This specimen was lot 71348 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Gelderland. Ducat, 1766. PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder. Only one graded at PCGS. Well struck with soft satin luster." The type is recorded from Gelderland 1708-18, 1730-50, 1758-63, 1766-69, 1786, 1791-93; each province of the Netherlands issued its own coins. Gelderland ducats are quite a bit less common than those of Utrecht or Holland.

Recorded mintage: 103,000 for 1766-69.
