This specimen was lot 2822 in Sincona sale 87 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,963 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE Geldern, Provinz, 2 Dukaten 1760, Selten. Sehr schön. Winzige Prüfspur am Rand. (Netherlands, province of Gelderland, double ducat of 1760. Rare, Very fine, Minimal test mark on edge.)"
This type was struck with a tree mintmark 1756 and 1759-61. It is rare.
Recorded mintage: 460,000 including 1760/59.
