This specimen was lot 1460 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. 2 Ducats, 1760. NGC AU-58. Entirely pleasing for the grade with bold designs, no major marks that command attention, and attractive orange-gold tone." The SCWC lists this type for 1716-93 and, unlike the single ducats, it is scarce to rare. Reeded edges were added starting in 1749.
