This specimen was lot 33828 in Heritage sale 3114 (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $4,800. The lot description[1] noted, "Netherlands: Holland. Provincial gold 2 Ducat 1763 MS62 NGC. The first occasion we've had to handle this double weight year-type, exhibiting an impeccable strike that now shares the flan with most pleasing saffron silhouetting. Tied with the only other specimen at NGC at this near-Choice designation." This type was struck 1749-93 and the SCWC prices all dates the same.
