Sincona sale 66, lot 1720

This specimen was lot 1720 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$461 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"THE NETHERLANDS | Province of Holland, 7 Gulden 1760. Fast vorzüglich. Leichte Fassungsspuren. (Netherlands, province of Holland, seven gulden of 1760. About extremely fine, Minor traces of mounting.)"

This type is recorded for 1749-51, 1760-63 only and is not common. It is often called a "gold half rider".
