This specimen was lot 1490 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 950 CHF (about US$1,255 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE Overijssel, Provinz, 7 Gulden 1760. 1/2 Goldener Reiter - 1/2 Gouden rijder. NGC MS62. (Netherlands, province of Overijssel, seven gulden or half gold rider of 1760. Graded NGC MS-62.)"
This expensive type is listed for 1760-63. It was the second largest gold coin regularly issued in the United Provinces after the "gold rider" (Fr-273).
