This specimen was lot 21620 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Overijssel. Gold 14 Gulden 1763, MS62 NGC, brilliant surfaces with moderate handling in the exposed fields. Popular type featuring a knight on horseback brandishing a sword." This expensive type is listed for 1760-63. It was the largest gold coin regularly issued in the United Provinces. It was accompanied by a "half gold rider" (Fr-274).

Specification: 9.93 g, 0.917 fine gold, .292 troy oz AGW.
