This specimen was lot 1125 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $5,100. The catalog description[1] noted, "GELDERLAND: Dutch Republic, AR ducaton, 1765, classic 'silver rider' design, an attractive mint state example! PCGS graded MS62, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection." This type was struck 1704-07, 1711-12, 1717, 1720-23, 1730, 1733-40, 1744, 1759-67, 1773-75, 1785, 1789-92 and the late dates are common. The "knotted tree" privy mark was used 1759-75.
