This specimen was lot 31327 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $705. The catalog description[1] noted, "Elizabeth I Threepence 1561, Third and Fourth Issues, rose behind bust, Pheon mm, XF45 NGC. Featuring a superb portrait, this exactingly struck piece is well-centered on a nice, round flan. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman/B.G. Johnson." This type is listed for 1561-67.
