Stack's Bowers September 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 75406

This specimen was lot 75406 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 3 Farthings, 1561. London Mint; mm: Pheon. Elizabeth I. PCGS VF-20. Obverse: Crowned bust left; Reverse: Square-topped coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck intermittently until 1577.
