This specimen was lot 75355 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1544-47). London Mint; mm: Lis. Henry VIII. PCGS VF-30. Obverse: Crowned bust facing; Reverse: Long cross fourchee. From the Richard August Collection." The third coinage of Henry VIII was repeatedly debased and ended only 4 oz (0.333) fine. Pennies were struck at London, Southwark, Bristol, Canterbury and York.
