This specimen was lot 10275 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €384 (about US$400). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1681-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC MS-61. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck at Copenhagen 1681-82. The Glückstadt mint also struck kroner for Christian V (Dav-3678); these have crossed axes for a mintmark and a smaller crown. One krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.
