This specimen was lot 20321 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 1/4 Ducat, 1660. Frederick V (1746-66). NGC MS-63. Impressive quality with eye catching golden color, glinting reflectivity in the fields and sharp detail that runs from the central bust and ornamental cross motifs to the peripheral legends. VERY RARE with a listed value of $4,000 in EF condition in the Standard Catalog of World Coins." This type was struck again in 1664 and accompanied a single ducat (KM 236).
