This specimen was lot 2890 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $920. The catalog description[1] noted, "Chile. 10 Pesos, 1867/6. Large plume. Standing liberty. NGC graded MS-63." This specimen was one of a series struck 1854-67 in Santiago, Chile. An earlier and a later type exist (KM 123 and KM 145), with slightly different designs for the arms and the standing Liberty. The SCWC does not give this overdate a premium.
Recorded mintage: 121,000 (including KM 145).
Specification: 15.253 g, 0.900 fine gold, .441 troy oz AGW.
