Stack's Bowers November 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 76336

This specimen was lot 76336 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Silver 5 Dollars Maple Leaf, 2008. Ottawa Mint. Elizabeth II. UNCIRCULATED. Housed in original case of issue with certificate of authenticity serial # 01182." This denomination was struck in numerous formats in 2008 (KM 1056, 1057, 1058, 1059, 625, 798, 799, 800, 929). This one promoted the twentieth anniversary of the Maple Leaf bullion coin and featured gilding on the silver.

Recorded mintage: 10,000 proofs.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine silver, 38 mm diameter, 1.00 troy oz ASW.
