This specimen was lot 39061 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it sold for $1,703.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 300 Dollars, 2008. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF. Platinum. From a mintage of 200 coins with certificate listing it as 036/200. Sports a nice design with a saber toothed Scimitar Cat on the obverse. In case of issue. Krause catalog value of $3,500. Total of 0.9926 Troy ounces APW."
