This specimen was lot 71203 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Dollar, 2005. Ottawa Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Flag in color type. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the national flag, the banner here is presented in blazing red color. Hard to encounter in perfect condition, this piece is bound for a fine collection of Canadian modern issues. From the Mayer Collection of Canadian NGC Registry Sets."

Recorded mintage: 50,948 "uncirculated" plus 95,341 proofs plus 62,562 gilt silver plus 4,898 with red added (shown here).

Specification: 25.18 g, 0.925 fine silver, 0.749 troy oz ASW, 36.07 mm diameter.
