This specimen was lot 70248 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 30 Dollars, 2005. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Welcome Totem Pole. From the Mayer Collection of Canadian NGC Registry Sets." This format was used for NCLT's in 2005-08. In 2009, the weight was raised to 33.75 g and the fineness to sterling.
Recorded mintage: 9,904.
Specification: 31.50 g, 0.925 fine silver, 0.936 oz ASW, 38 mm diameter.
