This specimen was lot 1974 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. 50 Cents, 1904. Edward VII. PCGS graded VF-20." This type is notoriously difficult to find in nice condition despite being minted in respectable numbers 1902-10. This date is rare.

Recorded mintage: 60,000.

Specification: 11.62 g, 0.925 fine silver, 29.72 mm diameter, .3456 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
