This specimen was lot 5091 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €500 (about US$646 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand, 1780-1806. 24 Mariengroschen 1798, Braunschweig. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles William Ferdinand, 1780-1806, 24 mariengroschen of 1798, Brunswick mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type is listed for 1789-1806. This denomination was also struck with a leaping stallion obverse until 1800.
