This specimen was lot 41294 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 6 Mariengroschen, 1715-HH. Zellerfeld Mint. August Wilhelm. PCGS AU-53. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1714-15 and is fairly common. Another six mariengroschen (KM 753) has a "6" added to mark the denomination. Six mariengroschen made one sixth of a thaler or one quarter gulden.
