This specimen was lot 74477 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1707. Zellerfeld Mint. Anton Ulrich. PCGS AU-58. A very attractive specimen with the barest hints of wear. Soft, champagne luster is augmented by peripheral hints of cobalt blue. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." Anton Ulrich ruled alone after his brother's death in 1704; this type was struck 1705-14.
