This specimen was lot 74478 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1708. Zellerfeld Mint. Anton Ulrich. PCGS AU-58. A lovely, well-struck example with satin surfaces and champagne highlights around the devices and inscriptions. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." Anton Ulrich ruled alone after his brother's death in 1704; this type was struck 1705-14.
