This specimen was lot 50435 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel. Taler, 1688-RB. Goslar Mint. NGC AU-55. Rudolph August & Anton Ulrich (1685-1704). Toned with lustrous highlights." This type is listed for 1688-1703 and is common. The very similar Dav-6394 lacks the inner circle around the dukes.
