This specimen was lot 41254 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. Taler, 1615. Zellerfeld or Goslar Mint; mm: crowned heart. Friedrich Ulrich. PCGS Genuine--Mount Removed, AU Details. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1613-28 and has a rather high catalog value despite the many years of production.
