This specimen was lot 53813 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob 8 Reales, 1750-P q. Potosi Mint. Ferdinand VI. NGC VF-30." This type was struck for Ferdinand VI through his entire reign. Assayer "q" stamped coins 1744-60. Assayer "E" is listed for 1750-51 along with assayer "q". The silver cobs were debased from 0.931 fine to 0.917 fine in 1728.
