Sincona sale 57, lot 3155

This specimen was lot 3155 in Sincona sale 57 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 70 CHF (about US$83 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Ferdinand II. 1618-1637. 15-Kipper Kreuzer 1622, Prag. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, kipper fifteen kreuzer of 1622, Prague mint. Very rare, About very fine.)"

This type was struck at Kuttenberg (KM 287), Prague (KM 328, shown here) and Joachimsthal (KM 329) for Ferdinand II. As a kipper issue, it was lightweight and debased.
