This specimen was lot 138 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,078 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, Maximilian I. 1598-1651. Reichstaler 1620, München. RR Kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön. (Germany, duchy of Bavaria, Maximilian I, 1598-1651, thaler of 1620, Munich mint. Rim nicks, very fine.)"
This type was also issued in 1618. A plethora of similar designs (arms obverse, Madonna and Child reverse) were issued in the 1620's.
