This specimen was lot 422 in Áureo y Calicó sale 345 (Barcelona, March 2020), where it sold for €280 (about US$370 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1621. Felipe III. Barcelona. 1 croat. Algún golpecito pero muy buen ejemplar. Ex Colección Ègara 26/04/2017, nº 738. Rara y más así. MBC+. (kingdom of Spain, Philip III, 1598-1621, one croat of 1621, Barelona mint. An edge nick but a nice example. Rare thus, choice very fine.)"
This type was struck 1607-13, 1620-21 using the bust of the kng Philip II, who died in 1598.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rather scarce.
