Baden 1819 6 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 4918 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BADEN-DURLACH, MARKGRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1803 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 GROSSHERZOGTUM, Ludwig, 1818-1830. 6 Kreuzer 1819. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Winz. Prägeschwäche, Stempelglanz. (grand duchy of Baden, Louis, 1818-30, six kreuzer of 1819. Very scarce in this quality, slightly weakly struck, uncirculated.)"
This type was also struck in 1822. This example sold for only five-eighths of the catalog value. Six kreuzer was 1/20 of a convention thaler.
