This specimen was lot 4181 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$360 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AUSTRIA, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835 5 Kreuzer 1828 A. Wien. Vorzüglich. Leicht justiert. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, five kreuzer of 1828, Vienna mint. Extremely fine. Minor adjustment marks.)"
This denomination, 1/24 of a thaler, was struck in various types 1815-67. This one, with the short haired bust of emperor Francis I, was issued from Vienna and Kremnitz 1825-30. Few were made and the type is now scarce.
