This specimen was lot 183 in Künker Auction 423 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €700 (about US$991 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. 1/2 Konv.-Taler 1768 AS, Hall. Brustbild r. mit Diadem, Witwenschleier und umgelegtem Mantel, darunter die Signatur A · S · (Ludwig Aschpacher, Münzmeister in Hall 1765-1771 und Wardein Johann Joseph Stockner)//Gekrönter Doppeladler mit Kopfscheinen, auf der Brust zweifach gekröntes, vierfeldiges Wappen (Ungarn, Böhmen / Burgund, Tirol), mit Mittelschild (österreichischer Bindenschild). Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. Exemplar der Auktion Münzkontor Frankfurt 20, Frankfurt/Main 1978, Nr. 193. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, half convention thaler of 1768, Hall mint. Obverse: Veiled, diademed and mantled bust right, initials "AS" below; reverse: crowned and nimbate double headed eagle supports the manifold arms of Dalmatia, Hungary, Castile, Bohemia, Croatia, Milan, Tyrol, Burgundy, Silesia, Styria, Lorraine, Carinthia and Gorizia with the escutcheon of Austria. Extremely fine.)"

This type is listed for 1766-77 with initials AS appearing 1766-73. The similar KM 1846 was struck in Vienna 1766-71.
