Steve Album sale 54, lot 2381

This specimen was lot 2381 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Leopold I, 1657-1705, AR 15 kreuzer (), Hall, 1694, struck with roller dies, reverse planchet striations, XF-AU." This type was struck at Hall 1676, 1687, 1691, 1694 and 1697 and is common. Other fifteen kreuzer for 1694 include KM 1170 (Vienna mint), KM 1279 (Graz mint, small bust), KM 1302 (St. Veit mint) and KM 1375 (Graz mint, large bust). One thaler was ninety kreuzer in the late seventeenth century.
