Künker sale 423, lot 152

This specimen was lot 152 in Künker Auction 423 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,133 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I., 1657-1705. 15 Kreuzer 1691, Hall. Geharnischtes Brustbild r. mit Lorbeerkranz und umgelegter Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies, unten die Wertzahl XV//Die Wappenschilde von Österreich und Tirol nebeneinander, oben Krone. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Lanz 126, München 2005, Nr. 109. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, fifteen kreuzer of 1691, Hall mint.)"

This type was struck 1676, 1687, 1691, 1694 and 1697 and is common. Fifteen kreuzer was one quarter gulden or one-sixth of a thaler.
