Steve Album sale 54, lot 2375

This specimen was lot 2375 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Leopold I, 1657-1705, AR 15 kreuzer, Vienna, 1663, very lustrous, nicely toned reverse, XF-AU." This type was struck at Vienna 1660-64 and 1674-76 and is common. Other fifteen kreuzer of 1663 include KM 1186 (Graz mint), KM 1198 (Vienna mint) and KM 1211 (St. Veit mint). One thaler was ninety kreuzer in the late seventeenth century.
