This specimen was lot 2379 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Leopold I, 1657-1705, AR 15 kreuzer, Vienna, 1676, struck with roller dies, well struck, lightly toned reverse, Choice XF." This type was struck at Vienna 1660, 1663-64, 1674-76, 1683-85, 1693-96 and is common. Considerable variation exists from year to year. One thaler was ninety kreuzer in the late seventeenth century.
