This specimen was lot 40533 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $576. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 1/2 Taler, ND (1521-64). Vienna Mint. Ferdinand I. NGC AU-58. From the Augustana Collection." This coin is undated but is likely from Ferdinand's tenure as king of Rome (1531-58) but issued before he adopted a beard in 1548.
