Künker Auction 426, lot 3035

This specimen was lot 3035 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €125 (about US$ including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand I., 1522-1558-1564. Pfundner 1526, Wien. Leichte Prägeschwäche, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1558-64, pfundner of 1526, Vienna mint. Lightly weakly struck, very fine.)"

One thaler was five pfundner in the early sixteenth century. Numista lists this type for 1520-27.
