Bohemia 1574 groschen
This specimen was lot 4675 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €170 (about US$239 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maximilian II., 1564-1576. Weißgroschen 1574, Kuttenberg. Münzmeister G. Satný von Olivet mit Samuel Wodolinský. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. (Holy Roman Empire, Maximilian II, 1564-76, white groschen of 1574, Kuttenberg mint. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1573-77 and has a very low catalog value. Numista states it had a face value of 1/20 thaler but we think 1/24 thaler is more likely.
