Bohemia 1566 10 kreuzer KM-MB168
This specimen was lot 4673 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,169 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maximilian II., 1564-1576. 10 Kreuzer 1566, Kuttenberg. Münzmeister Ludvík Karel und Jirí Satný. Sehr schön. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. (Holy Roman Empire, Maximilian II, 1564-76, ten kreuzer of 1566, Kuttenberg mint. Very fine.)"
This type is noted in the SCWC for 1565-72 and was worth one-sixth of a guldenthaler (note the emperor holding an orb with the number "10"). This type was also struck at Joachimsthal (KM MB169).
