Künker Auction 425, lot 2013

This specimen was lot 2013 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,416 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · ANHALT, FÜRSTENTUM Christian I., August, Ludwig, Johann Casimir, Georg Aribert und Johann, 1621-1630. Reichstaler (24 Groschen) 1625, Zerbst. Winz. Randfehler, sehr schön. Exemplar der Slg. Thormann, Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 320, Osnabrück 2019, Nr. 4767; zuvor erworben am 12.9.1970 von der Münzhandlung Ilse Ernst-Algie, Stuttgart. (Germany, principality of Anhalt, joint issue of Christian I, August, Louis, John Casimir, George Aribert and John, 1621-30, thaler of 1625, Zerbst mint. Some rim bumps, very fine.)"

This scarce type was struck 1624-25, some without the initials "EI".
