Künker sale 335, lot 4661

This specimen was lot 4661 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €600 (about US$785 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. Ferdinand II. 1592-1618-1637. 1/4 Reichstaler 1625, Wien. RR Min. Prägeschwäche, sehr schön +. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, quarter thaler of 1625, Vienna mint. Rare, slightly weakly struck, very fine or better.)"

We have assigned this to KM 506 even tho the example shown here has a completely different reverse. Quarter thalers were also struck in Klagenfurt, Graz and Hall.
