China G109-2274r.jpg

This specimen was lot 2274 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $1,380. The catalog description[1] noted, "China. 500 Yuan, 2003. Panda. NGC graded MS-69." The one ounce panda was raised from 100 yuan to 500 yuan in 2000.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Catalog reference: KM-1474.
