The first specimen was lot 34304 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. 10 Gulden, 1898. PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder." The Dutch ten gulden is about four percent heavier than the similar French twenty francs.

Recorded mintage: 99,239.

Specification: 6.73 g, 0.900 fine gold, 22.5 mm diameter.
