This specimen was lot 1353 in Jean Elsen sale 123 (Brussels, December 2014), where it sold for €420 (about US$610 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, Koninkrijk, Wilhelmina (1890-1948), AR 25 cents, 1898. Zeldzaam. Een paar tikjes op kz. Prachtig. (kingdom of the Netherlands, Wilhelmina (1890-1948), silver 25 cents of 1898. Rare, a few rim bumps on the reverse, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1898 only at Utrecht. This date is scarce to rare and features the queen using her "coronation bust". The contemporary French silver half franc was 2.5 g, 0.835 fine.
