Künker sale 353, lot 3179

This specimen was lot 3179 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich (III.) I. 1701-1713. 1/3 Taler 1707, CS, Berlin. Münzmeister Christoph Stricker. Von großer Seltenheit. Feine Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Galerie des Monnaies 22, Düsseldorf 1979, Nr. 78. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick I, 1701-13, one-third thaler of 1707, Berlin mint. Very rare, fine patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This half gulden was struck 1701-07 and 1711.
