The first specimen was lot 1038 in Sincona sale 19 (Zurich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 5,000 (about US$6,266 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "2 Kopecks 1924. Brilliant uncirculated." The second specimen was lot 2264 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $324. The catalog description[2] noted, "2 Kopecks 1924. Reeded edge. Authenticated and graded by NGC MS 64 RB. Red-brown. Very choice brilliant uncirculated." In 1921, having defeated all its internal enemies, the Bolshevik regime resumed the issue of silver coinage of ten kopeks up to a ruble. In 1924, this bronze two kopeks was added, along with a one, three and five kopeks.

Specification: bronze, issued with reeded edge (common) and plain edge (rare), this specimen 6.50 g.
